I came to Round Hill in 2000 after many visits to see my friend's children take on the role of shepherds in the Christmas Pageant. I have been drawn to the simple service and sermons that speak to me, varied and wonderful music, the lovely and peaceful Sanctuary, and the feeling that I have a home here. Over the years, I have served on the Executive Committee almost from the beginning, first as secretary, and eventually all of the Officer positions. I have worked on a variety of other committees and projects, as well as several search committees. I find that the more I take on different responsibilities, the better I get to know how the church works and how we can be better, while I also meet new people. I believe that organization and preparation are my greatest strengths and I will persevere at a task or problem until I feel I understand it and can bring it to some kind of better resolution. I love cooking for my family and friends, gardening, walks with my adorable pooch and husband, and being with my family. I will always find time to do the New York Times crossword puzzles.
