Round Hill Reads: Twelve Steps to a Compassionate Life

Jesus gave his followers clear directions: “Be compassionate as your Father is compassionate.” (Luke 6:36). Compassion is the heart of a faith that is a force for good and it wears many faces. For the Winter/Spring gathering of Round Hill Reads, we will explore Karen Armstrong’s book, Twelve Steps to a Compassionate Life. Books may be purchased through online resellers or your local bookstore.

Round Hill Reads is a four-part book study that explores themes at the crossroads of faith and culture. While we seek to increase our knowledge of the themes we study, our primary purpose is to deepen our relationship with God and express the love of God for the wider world.

Childcare may be provided with advance request to the Church office.
