International recording artist, conductor, organist, pianist, and harpsichordist Alexander Frey will be performing a recital at Round Hill Community Church on Friday, January 26, at 8:00 p.m.

Playing the works of Erich Wolfgang Korngold (1897-1957) as well as his own arrangements of works of Robert Schumann (1810-1856), Frey’s playing will both inspire and delight. A Top 10 Billboard Classical Music Chart Artist (2005) as both conductor and pianist, he performs every year with symphony orchestras and as soloist throughout the world, as well as in many international festivals.
He began the 2017-2018 season with concerts in Germany and Austria, including two sold-out concerts as pianist with the Vienna Radio Orchestra (ORF) for the Hollywood in Vienna Festival in the city’s Konzerthaus. After these performances, he traveled to Mexico to perform in two cities as organist with the Symphony Orchestra of the State of Mexico (Orquesta Sinfónica del Estado de México). Immediately following these concerts, Mr. Frey flew to Russia to conduct two major opera productions of Verdi’s La Traviata and Tchaikovsky’s Eugene Onegin.
In addition to further performances throughout Europe and North America during the 2017-2018 season, he will return to Russia for more engagements in the spring as well as give a series of concerts in Malta at the Gaulitana International Music Festival, for which he is Artist-in-Residence.  He will also give masterclasses in Italy in the spring and summer.
The recital will be followed by a reception to meet the artist.
