Landscapes and Figurative Art by Rob Pajer, a versatile artist from New York City, will be exhibited at Les Beaux Arts Gallery through May 24, 2018

Pajer’s figures draw on the multiple talents of New York City models while his landscape work features a wide array of natural scenes from Greenwich to California. He emphasizes the intimate connection to people who are depicted in a meditative state leaving the narrative to the viewer. His nature scenes are depicted in the same vein, serene and calm.

Pajer earned a master of Science from the School of Architecture at Pratt Institute in Brooklyn New York and a Master of Fine Art in Scenic Design from Brooklyn College. He went on to develop projects for commercial facilities and design scenery for a number of New York City theatres. After 25 years, he turned to painting and drawing influenced by his early training in theatrical design. He now exploits, in two dimensions, what would be impossible in the stage scenery.

Les Beaux Arts Gallery is open Sunday, 11:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.; Monday thru Friday, 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.; closed Saturday. For more information, call 203.869.1091
