Set aside some portion of each day to rest in your friendship with God, where no requests or demands are made, but where time is shared like the time that is shared between two good friends who are not afraid of silence.

Take some time to ask your friends what friendship means to them, and to identify some of the practices that nurture healthy friendships over time.

Throughout the month of June, choose a day of the week on which to write a few brief notes to friends, thanking them for the way in which their companionship has brought joy and meaning to your life.

Make a new friend by introducing yourself to someone you don’t know: take time to meet that person for coffee, and perhaps a new friendship will evolve!

Pray for your friends, asking God’s blessing for them and their lives.
