Mission Trips

Each year several adults and youth take a mission trip to an area in the world needing assistance. In the past groups have volunteered in:

• Nicaragua, with Bridges to Community, to build homes for families
• New Orleans, to help with cleanup after Hurricane Katrina
• Virginia, to make repairs at a daycamp for underprivileged children near Lynchburg
• New York City, learning about and working with homeless people
• Monkey River in Belize, to help with rebuilding after Hurricane Iris
