The Center for Faith Development nurtures an inward journey of prayer and study along with an outward journey of worship and engagement to deepen our understanding of God's purpose in our lives.

Throughout the year the Center plans, presents, and evaluates programs on relevant issues that educate, stimulate thinking, and promote dialogue. Forums are typically held on Sundays at 11:15 a.m. (see the Calendar for dates). Childcare is available.

2013 Lenten Study Opportunities:

In recent years the Center has offered:

  • Bible Study sessions led by guest scholars and preachers
  • Meditation classes
  • Sessions on building strong relationships given by a local marriage counselor
  • Parenting workshops
  • An interactive DVD series based on the "Living the Questions" curriculum, with discussion featuring leading scholars in progressive Christianity
